Dish of the Day: Hopelessly Devoted to You- Olivia Newton-Johnwhat a day.
G12 was great today. i guess it's the first time i actually consolidated all my thoughts about myself, yet also what others have said about me.
do i like the person i see in the mirror?
i mean, how can we expect others to love us when we cannot even love ourselves?
i've been thinking a lot lately. (yes i know i do not look intellectual)
what if our destiny is not what we expected?
if your destiny is just to save one person from death, or to give birth to a particular person, or simply to trample upon a patch of carpet grass, would you be able to accept it?
after all, not all of us are gonna be stars or journalists or television presenters or big budget film producers, as opposed to our wishes.
i might not get to marry josh harnett. i might become a spinster, or have a banana for a mate. who knows? i might die of heart attack the next second. maybe the reason for my existence is really just a small, insignificant one.
this is one of the reasons i stopped being so skeptical about God. you can never know what lies ahead of you. after all, does life really go according to how we plan it?
